With a medical background from Karolinska Institutet and a PhD in basic neuroscience, Johan is deeply rooted in the scientific community.

He has extensive experience in senior positions at major pharmaceutical companies such as AstraZeneca and Astra Pain Control.

Carl Johan Sundberg

Physician and Professor of Molecular and Applied Exercise Physiology at the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology, and Dean of Karolinska Institutet Campus North.

Member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences and serves as member/chairman on several academic and industry boards. Carl Johan was Investment Director of the Karolinska Investment Fund for ten years.

Karin Dahlman-Wright (Deputy Member)

Professor of Molecular Endocrinology and Chair of the Karolinska Institutet's Council for Research and Infrastructure, as well as the Council for Environment and Sustainable Development.

Karin has previously served as Head of Department, Vice President, and Acting President of Karolinska Institutet, as well as Chair of KI Holding.

Mikael Lindström

Deputy President at KTH. Professor of Wood Technology and Pulp Technology. 

Mikael previously served as Head of the CBH School (The School of Engineering Sciences in Chemistry, Biotechnology and Health), one of KTH’s schools.

Professor of Microbiology at KTH and Karolinska Institutet. Director of the Human Protein Atlas consortium. Mathias has published over 800 peer-reviewed articles and co-founded 20 biotechnology companies.

Member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and the U.S. National Academy of Engineering.

Stefan Nordlund

Professor of Biochemistry at Stockholm University.

Chairman of the Board at Vetenskapens Hus since 2001.

Stefan has served as Head of the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics, and as Dean of the Faculty of Science at Stockholm University.

University Director at Stockholm University.

Former Deputy University Director, Head of Planning, Head of Administration, Director of Studies, and Student Advisor.

Åsa is a biochemist and earned her PhD in 1995.

Director of Innovation for the City of Stockholm. She has previously served as Inquiry Secretary for the Trust Commission at the Ministry of Finance, Government Offices of Sweden. Karin has also been Head of Department at the Elderly Services Administration in the City of Stockholm.

Regional Council Member, Region Stockholm. Magnus holds a Master of Science in Engineering with a focus on Automation & Mechatronics from Chalmers University. He has left research behind and now works full-time in politics, both within Region Stockholm and Solna Municipality.

Pontus holds a PhD from Karolinska Institutet and has extensive experience in policy development as well as support for research and innovation.

He has previously worked at the Swedish Research Council and as a Government Official at the Government Offices of Sweden.
